Welcome

What is human nature? To fight or to seek peace? To look for commonalities or to look for differences?

Human nature is to conquer what you seek, i believe it depends who you are and what you believe in whether you fight or seek peace, i believe most people judge by differences rather than commonalities.

Human nature... well western culture emphisises independance, so naturally we want to be the best. It is the blindness of self confidence. You will think that your race, religion, social structure and way of living is the right way. The other person or group can either be bullied by it or fight back. Only the strongest and most influenced by religion will survive.

One thing that can stop this however, is science. Science completely destroys religion, as people start to get a bigger view of the world, and life. I believe that if people know why others are different (genetics) then there wouldn't be much of a problem.

I don't think that it is human nature to want to fight, but I think it is human nature to seek freedom and justice. Sometimes I think that the way that people think they can acheive their "Human Rights" is by entering battles and wars saying this is ours and this is what we have come to claim. But the main problem I think would be that each society and country perceives their rights in a different manor. And they can justify their rights by looking for differences.
